Independent app and game studio
Anything that can happen will happen.
So we build for it: apps that keep working when the internet drops, never ask for a password and leave your data with you. Murfy is an independent studio founded by Uğur Yıldız.

What we make
Apps that each do one thing well. Games and a shop coming soon.
Zikret and Hatmet are currently available in Turkish only.
Zikret
The Holy Quran, sourced prayers, Jawshan, a dhikr counter and prayer times in one app.

Hatmet
Start a khatm, share it on WhatsApp; everyone takes a juz, reads it and taps “done”.

We are working on our first games. We will try everything that can go wrong, too.

FAQ
Things you may wonder
Are the apps free? Are there ads?
Core features are free. The free version of Zikret shows ads; an optional Pro subscription removes them and unlocks extra features. In Hatmet, joining and reading are always free; starting one khatm a month is free too, and for more you can watch a short video.
Why don't you ask for an account?
Because most things don't need one. No account means no password to remember and no data to leak. You use Zikret and Hatmet without signing up.
Where is my data kept?
Your records in Zikret stay on your phone. In Hatmet, khatm details are kept on our server so a shared khatm can work, but there is no account asking who you are. Details are in each app's privacy policy; the links are at the bottom of the page.
Is it on iPhone?
Zikret is on both Google Play and the App Store. Hatmet is on Android for now; the iPhone version is in the works. Until then, friends with an iPhone can join a khatm from their browser.
Why are you called Murfy?
From Murphy's Law. Not in the sense of “anything that can go wrong will go wrong”, but “anything that can happen will happen”. The story is on our About page.
I have an idea or a bug report.
Great. Write to uyildiz2054@gmail.com and tell us which app, which phone and what happened, so we can fix it faster.
Got an idea?
Write to us. Maybe the next app will be yours.
An app or game idea, a suggestion for Zikret or Hatmet, a bug report. We read every message and build the ideas we love.
